| Antoine.“ – About „Vol de Nuit“. „Courrier Sud“ was printed in only 5 copies on Japon Impérial, this half-title with Saint-Exupéry’s dedication to his wife was ripped off one of these 5 copies. – In 1929 Saint-Exupéry went to Argentinia in order to establish an airmail carrier line. There he met the painter, sculptor and author Consuelo de Gomez Carrillo (1901-1979) whom he married in Nice (France) on 22nd April 1931. – A photography of Saint-Exupéry is mounted below the dedication in the lower third of the half-title page. – Such an autograph dedication by Saint-Exupéry to his wife is absolutely rare, like all autograph documents by the author.
