The Printer’s device for Italian printer Hieronymus Scotus is allegorical: a woman sits on the world holding an olive branch, and the motto, ‚Fiat pax in virtute tua‘ promises that peace comes with virtue. – Scotto gilt als bedeutendster Musikdrucker Venedigs in der Renaissance. Er wirkte auch als Komponist und gab drei eigene Madrigalbücher heraus.
