Please keep my intended arrival confidential, as it is most important to me […]“. – Cheng lebte Anfang der 70er Jahre in New York, Paris und Amsterdam, wo er 1976 seine erste Einzelausstellung hatte. Miles Davis war ein Sammler seiner Werke.
